New: Bo eats beans. Yippee. He's interested in the concept of Spring. Wonderful. My son and husband spent six days without me and did just fine. It was very nice of Fred to let me take a trip to Mexico with my mother and sisters. Also new: Bo's healthy (after a long period of on-and-off colds/wheeziness), and we've switched doctors to the medical team at the United Indian Health Services. As a registered Choctaw (his bio-dad is an official member of the Choctaw Nation), Bo can receive health care at this beautiful facility just down the road. The building's design reflects the traditional Yurok style and has twenty acres of wetlands with nature paths and an organic community garden. Here's Bo "helping" his papa relocate some firewood.

Humboldt and I are so lucky to be part of a play group that meets on Fridays. One week a mom organized a trip to the Fire Station, and they let all the kids check out the trucks.
Here are the Hoffman ladies in Puerto Vallarta. This was our third trip celebrating a 40th birthday. Thanks, Mom!
