The Year of the Ox is off to a good start. I'm so grateful for everyday that we are all healthy, and HG is so happy! He's got his train out, and we're all finding out how fun track building can be. HG is almost 2 1/4, and he's a little over 3' tall. It's really neat to hear him string words together. Yesterday, he asked to read his book, Fortunately. That's his most polysyllabic word to date. He's learning how to entertain himself; occasionally he'll go into his room to look at a book. At nap time, he almost always falls asleep with a book in his hands. Oh, he finally figured out how to jump  and get both feet off the ground. And, he loves to walk backwards.
