Twenty Ten

Happy New Year! Santa and his reindeer visited us on solstice, and they were very generous. Guess they enjoyed the coffee and carrots that Humboldt left by the chimney. Here's one of Fred's latest creations with the trios. Bo calls it Popperville, and we call the little guys in the car Jeffrey and Ricky. It is an understatement to say that Bo loves books, and I love reading Frog and Toad. I'm also learning how to construct hot wheel ramps - what a blast. When it wasn't raining, we biked down the street to Cahill Park where the trees are just the right height for three year olds to climb on.

Since we haven't had much snow in the nearby mountains yet, Fred made these playdough "snowmen" for Bo - with real carrot noses. We had so much fun making play dough gingerbread boys, that we also made real gingerbread, corn tortilla, and pizza dough gingerbread boys. Yum.
Two wonderful things about the rainy season: puddle stomping and rainbows. Here's Bo playing in the field behind our house, under the watchful eye of our cat, Rosebud. Splosh!
