My San Francisco friend, Lisa, took us to AT&T Park to see the World Champion Giants beat the A's. Tim Lincecum pitched a complete game. Nicholas drove us part way in a convertible, and we got to ride the muni. Their daughter taught us some dragonology before the game. We love the Giants! After the game we headed for Santa Cruz. Humboldt was brave enough to touch Uncle Jaime's huge python, Boo Boo. Humboldt and I camped a couple nights at Brighton Beach State Park and got to spend a lot of time with Aunt Natasha, who gave Bo his first ride in a VW Bug.
Next we flew to St. Louis for some more family time. Fortunately, Humboldt is really a champ at running through airports! We got to Missouri just in time for a heat wave and the chirring of the cicadas. Here's one of Bo's "canyonballs" off the diving board at my parents' pool.
Grandpa Ralph and Grandma Brenda were kind enough to take us to Busch Stadium for the Giants vs. Cardinals on Memorial Day. Here we are in front of our favorite old lefty, Stan the Man. Humboldt's still batting left and throwing right (just like Tim Lincecum!) Humboldt liked the pink lemonade and the 7th inning sing along of Take Me Out To The Ballgame. I loved the game!
The big reason we were in St. Louis...Wolfy graduated from Clayton High! The party was a lot of fun - muscle flexing and homemade ice cream and strawberry pie. Good luck, Wolfasaurus!
Last, but not least, Humboldt got to play a little catch with Grandpa Ralph. I posted a few more photos on my flickr site - see "More Photos" on the right. Play ball!
