The camera hasn't seen much action since the holidays, but I do have one photo that I took to document a home school activity. We've been testing some hypotheses with scientific experiments, mostly inspired by Janice Van Cleave's books. We are observing the tulips and daffodils push up in the garden and enjoying our adventures at the beach and in the local forest. Humboldt's been playing new board games with friends, and is learning how to deal with drawing bad cards and losing games. He is becoming more brave and learning how to read. I love listening to him read the Discovery Peak books that my sister Julie co-wrote and illustrated; level one books are perfect for him.
