| Over winter break, Humboldt realized he loves riding a bike., so this was often my view as I followed along with Chutney and Buster. We've had many a fun ride to his school in the mornings since then. |
| Rocking the school t-shirt. |
| Designed by Aunt Julie. |
| Playing basketball at the community center. |
| In the first grade play, Humboldt played Big Hug, the teddy bear. |
By the way, here's Humboldt's current life plan… play baseball, then retire and open a meat-free taco stand during the daytime and spend the nights inventing. Thought today he told me that he'd be mostly nocturnal and work as a policeman at night, catching bad guys with his friend, Cassidy.
| Meanwhile, he helped me plant our new apple tree - an early variety called Wynoochee. |
| Got to celebrate Ralph's and Julie's birthdays in Missouri in the winter…always nice to see family! |
| Enjoyed visiting the zoo during a very uncrowded time. Choo Choo. |
| Humboldt got to experience some real winter weather and something new - jumping on a snowy trampoline with cousin Lily. |
Which brings us to St. Patrick's Day and Fred's eighteenth year planting potatoes in the garden.
Ode To Spring
sweet, sweet season
hinting at eternity
freshly blossomed
